2014 Youth Lacrosse Rules Sheet • All goalkeepers must wear arm pads • A protective cup is required for all players • NO HORNS at U13 & U15. Sideline horns will be permitted at U9 & U11 • All game balls must have, “ Meets NOCSAE Standard” on them • U9-U15: Any one-handed check, regardless if it makes contact, will be a SLASH • Any player may foul out of a game by accumulating 4 personal fouls or 5 total minutes of personal foul time • 3 yard rule for contact • Referee payments will be split between HOME and VISITING teams

Time: 12 minute running quarters 7 on 7 with modified field dimensions NO Body Checking of any kind No man advantage penalty enforcement, offending player must leave field for full time of penalty All sticks will be between 37-42 inches Counts: Only 4 second goalie count. “Advance the ball” by referee may be used. Any one-handed check, regardless if it makes contact, will be a SLASH Referee Fees: $45 total for 1 referee

U11 • Time: 8 minute stop quarters, or 12 running • Full field 10 v 10. If 7 v7 has been decided by both coaches, a modified field can be used. • Counts: Only 4 second goalie count, “Advance the ball” by referee may be used. • NO Body Checking of any kind • Any one-handed check, regardless if it makes contact, will be a SLASH • No longsticks. • Referee Fees: $90 total for 2 referees ($45/ref). If only one referee is present, $67.50 is due him

U 13 • 10 minute stop quarters • Counts: 4 second goalie count, offensive 10 second count and 20 second defensive count • Body checking is permitted, BUT NO take-out checks • Any one-handed check, regardless if it makes contact, will be a SLASH. • Final 2 minute Stalling Rule in place • Referee Fees: $90 total for 2 referees ($45/ref). If only one referee is present, $67.50 is due him
