Safety Net Program

13 © 2015 ASPCA®. All Rights Reserved.

The Evolution of the Safety Net Program •Intended to be a Surrender Intervention program •Quickly found there was a greater need not being met in the community •By adjusting our approach, to be more retention focused, we were able to continue our efforts of keeping people and pets together. By providing assistance we are able to ensure the pet stays at home, with their loved ones, rather than surrendered to the shelter because of lack of access to resources. 14 © 2015 ASPCA®.
