Dizzy Dean rules unless otherwise stated. Free Defensive Substitution and Continuous Batting Order permitted in ALL age groups. Must declare at plate meeting. Games are 6 innings or Time Limit. Time after which no new inning may begin: 1. Coach Pitch 80 minutes 2. 9-11U90 minutes 3. Championship Games (6-8U) 95 minutes 4. Championship Games (9-11U) 105 minutes Seven run limit per inning in All age groups Pitcher is charged with remaining outs in any inning where offensive team reaches 7 runs. Mercy rule in effect when losing team is unable to equal lead by scoring maximum runs in remaining innings. All non-wood bats must meet 1.15 BPF (Bat Performance Factor) for life of the bat and must possess a clearly identifiable manufacturer’s certification stamp. This includes bats of all diameters. In Coach Pitch, the player pitcher must wear a protective mask. The catcher is required to wear a protective helmet/mask and chest guard. The catcher is encouraged to wear shin guards and a protective cup. Courtesy runner is allowed for catcher of record. Runner must be a substitute if available or last batted out. In case of a tie in pool play, game result will be recorded as a tie with each team receiving ½ of points allocated in standings. In bracket play, tie breaker will be in effect with last batted out placed on second base with one out to begin extra inning. Uniforms do not have to match, but it is encouraged. Each player shall have a jersey with a number. Hat must be worn. Shirts shall remain tucked in. Coaches are not required to wear matching uniforms. The tournament will follow Dizzy Dean pitching rules. Umpires will record innings pitched and final score of each game. Each head coach will sign off on the game form after the game. Innings pitched by team/player will be recorded on the tournament website. Tournament director may determine a game is forfeited for pitching rule violations. 9-10U:

11U:

-Max of 14 innings for the tournament -Max of 7 innings in one day -Three innings plus 1 pitch in same day requires 48 hours of rest

*****Example: A player pitches 2 innings in game one on Saturday, then an additional inning in game two. That player may continue to pitch on Saturday up to 7 total innings for the day. However, a 48 hour rest period is mandatory after 3 innings and 1 pitch in the same day, meaning in the example the player is ineligible to pitch on Sunday. It is not 3 innings per GAME. It is 3 innings per DAY. M. N. O.

In pool play, coin toss determines home team. In bracket play, better seed has the option to bat or field first. Home team’s scorebook is the official book. Away team will run the scoreboard. Each team provides one new baseball or one slightly used baseball for each game. If additional balls are needed, team at bat provides additional ball. P. In case of tie in standings after pool play games, seeding will be determined as follows:  Heat to Head (if only 2 teams tied**If 3 or more are tied, then head to head is thrown out)  Runs Allowed  Runs Scored  Coin Toss Q. No personal coolers permitted in park. One team cooler is permitted in dugouts. R. No scooters, bicycles, skateboards, roller blades, or similar toys are permitted. S. No pets are permitted at Hobgood Park. T. No alcohol or tobacco allowed. U. Teams MAY play more than 2 games per day. V. Parking only in designated areas. No parking on grass or areas designated by NO PARKING signs. W. Batting cages are first come, first served. Limit cage time to 20 minutes when other teams are waiting.
