2015 Morton Heat Classic Tournament Thank you to all the 6th Grade Girls teams that participated in the 2015 Morton Heat Classic. We were once again able to witness some very good basketball during the tournament. Canton defeated Havana in the Championship game to become the 2015 Morton Heat Classic Champion. Havana was very impressive as well throughout the tournament and placed 2nd. East Peoria defeated Washington to take home the 3rd place trophy and Olympia defeated Morton to become Consolation Champions. There was some very good individual performances throughout the tournament as well and we would like to recognize Bailey Culver (Canton) as the tournament MVP! Bailey averaged 16 points per game and was a unanimous All-Star Selection. Other unanimous All-Star Selections included Faith Demler (Canton), Addison Shurman (Morton), Rachael Valiantos (EP), Reese Smith (Havana), Madelyn Aaron (EP) and Abby Scott (Tremont).
