2015 Official Kansas City Irish Fest Baking Contest Rules and Entry Form 1. The contest is free to enter and open to all ages, but only non-professionals please. Limit two entries per person. 2. This year’s contest theme is GUINNESS FOR DESSERT. Entries must be sufficient in quantity for up to seven judges to sample. 3. Entries need to be brought for judging to Culture Cafe by 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, September 5, or Sunday, September 6, along with a completed entry form (available online or at the booth the day of) for each entry. All entries will become the property of the Kansas City Irish Fest. 4. You need not be present to win. All prizes will be awarded by 12:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. Winners will be announced first, notified by phone if not present, and later by mail, if necessary. 5. Decisions of the judges are final. 6. Kansas City Irish Fest reserves the right to use winners’ names and pictures of their entries for use in future promotional materials.
