The great thing about the outdoors is that there is so much to discover and explore. Campers will explore the different habitats and the wildlife in Bloomer Park through hikes, games and other fun outdoor activities. July 9th will focus on water habitats and explore amphibians and reptiles. On July 23rd campers will be learning about birds and mammals in the woods and on the trails in the park. 

July 24: Nighttime Neighbors: 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. History Camps July 16 and 30: Little House by the Creek Day Camp: 10:00-3:00 Ages 7-11

Campers work and play like yesterday as Bertha and Alice might have in the 1800s, attending the schoolhouse that they loved, harvesting fruits and vegetables, and ending each session exploring the “shimmering” creek. Greenfield Village Lah-De-Dahs: 1:00  Environmental Camps & Programs - Ages 7-up August 4 - 7: Adventure Camp at Bloomer Park 10:00-3:00

This week long camp will allow campers to immerse themselves in nature and learn about plants, wildlife, and basic survival skills. Fishing, archery, nature journaling, and hiking are just some of the activities we will be doing. This camp will also include a family cookout on the last day of camp.  

Enjoy four days of fun on our 16 acres and throughout our historic buildings and Stony Creek. The sites/sights, sounds, smells, tastes, and feelings are fodder for any budding young writer. The focus is on process not product, and does align with the Rochester Community Schools’ curriculum.
