2015 Summer Sessions
2015 Summer Sessions Hansen Dam Riding School (HDRS) is proud to offer summer sessions for children (6+) who are interested in learning all aspects of riding and horsemanship in a fun and safe environment. All levels are welcome, and no prior experience is needed. Weekly sessions are Monday thru Friday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Extended hours are available with prior arrangements for $15 per hour per child. Sessions are $450 for the week or $110 for the day. A 10% discount is given for siblings/multiple weeks after the purchase of one full price week. To reserve your spot, a nonrefundable deposit of $225 must be included with your registration form. Full payment is due by the registration closing date. We accept checks, cash, and all major credit cards. In the case that your child is unable to attend due to injury or illness, your fees may be applied toward another session or toward riding lessons. Credit must be used within 90 days from start of session. HDRS does not issue refunds.

Check-in Grooming for morning lesson Morning Lesson Untack and groom horses, snack time Feed barn lunch Picnic lunch and games in the park Learn about breeds and horse colors Games on horseback Care of your assigned horse for the week Make dinner buckets for the horses and feed them Check-out
Child must be wearing long pants and closed toed boots with a small heel to ride. They are more than welcome to change into shorts after the ride. Please send a sack lunch with a few extra snacks and lots of water and sunscreen. We have refrigerators and microwaves in the office and the tack room.
