Bible Conference September 25-26, 2016 Dr. Ian Hewitson
Dr. Ian Hewitson Dr. Hewitson will examine the uniqueness of the Scripture in the counseling ministry of the church. He will establish the Biblical basis for Chris=an counseling and provide some examples of how to use the Scripture in counseling. Dr. Hewitson will conclude with an examina=on of the key differences between Biblical and secular counseling.
Dr. Ian Hewitson was born in Jos, Nigeria and spent his forma=ve years in Great Britain. He was awarded the M.A. degree from Westminster Theological Seminary and the Ph.D. degree from Aberdeen University in Scotland. Dr. Hewitson has spent his life both in pastoral ministry and as a university professor of systema=c and biblical theology. He is married to Jill, and they have two sons.
