THE BORO BLUES
3rd Annual Umpire Camp History The MBA Umpire camp will celebrate it’s 3rd annual umpire camp held in the Middle TN Area. This camp was created in order to encourage individuals with a love for the sport to join the umpire fraternity. Since the creation of the camp not long ago, it has developed into not only a way for individuals to start their umpire career but also a place for existing umpires to enhance their skills.
CAMP HIGHLIGHTS This camp is structured in a manner that will teach you the fundamentals of umpiring if you are a beginner. It also allows for current umpires to enhance and refine their current umpire skills.
Mechanics and Techniques are always changing and our goal is to ensure that you are up to speed with what is expected at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.
Camp Agenda
Special Guest Speaker Each year since the inception of camp we have made the effort to bring in a special guest speaker. Our goal is to invite someone to our camp that can further assist and develop us as Umpires regardless of the level you officiate. This year the camp is proud to announce that our guest speaker will be Head Coach CRAIG REAVIS.
Working in conjunction with the Middle TN Umpires Association otherwise known as “THE BORO BLUES” we have put together a program that is appropriate for the beginner and intermediate Umpires. This camp is ideal for those looking to start and also those looking to improve their skills.
Our goal is simple… We are looking to support umpires reach their personal and professional development through continued training and education.
We encourage you to read the rest of this brochure and see what we have to offer. We hope that you will join us and become one of the the “Men in Blue”
• Students will have classroom instruction and interaction.

• Field work ( Both 2 man and 3 man mechanics)
