Each   group   has   a   set   of   discussion   topics   to   get   them   started.   They   are   free   to   bring   up   other   topics,   ques;ons,   or   concerns   as   they   wish.   This   customizable   and   highly   interac;ve   format  allows  for  content-­‐rich  discussions  and   creates  lively  and  per;nent  dialogue  relevant   to  par;cipants’  daily  work.

WHAT’S  NEW?   We’ve   recently   invited   contractors   and   consultants   to   the   forum   to   encourage   discussion   of   safe   prac;ces   when   working   with  new  people  and  groups.     Do   you   work   with   underground   and   overhead   distribu;on?   The   forums   may   be   combined   to   allow   those   who   work   in   mul;ple   func;onal   areas  to  par;cipate.  

DISCUSSION  TOPICS   General  safety  topics  relevant  for  all  sessions:   • Storm  Restora;on   • Developing  a  Safe  Work  Aotude   • Personal  Protec;ve  Equipment   • Training  Programs   • Programs  to  reduce  injuries  (back,  strains,  and  sprains)   Each  group  will  also  be  provided  with  an  extended  list  of   topics   for   discussion   based   on   their   func;onal   area(s).   A=endees   are   encouraged   to   come   to   the   program   with   addi;onal  subjects  or  experiences  to  discuss.   Sample  topics:   • Defensive  Driving   • Switching  and  Tagging   • Grounding  and  Tes;ng  Methods   • New  Tools  -­‐  What’s  Making  Your  Job  Easier?
