Call for Nominations for AAA Positions This year, the AAA Nominations Committee is seeking nominations for leadership positions for the 2017 elections: 1 AAA President-Elect/ Vice President AAA Executive Board • 1 Archaeology Seat • 1 Biological Seat • 1 Linguistic Seat • 1 Undesignated Seat #3 AAA Nominations Committee • 1 Biological Seat • 1 Linguistic Seat • 1 Undesignated Seat #1

Ten new positions are opening in the NEW Members Programmatic Advisory & Advocacy Committee (M-PAAC). In an overhaul of existing programmatic committees, the Executive Board has formed M-PAAC for the purpose of responding to AAA member needs and interests. M-PAAC will focus on the key areas of ethics, human rights, labor and workforce, public policy, racialized minorities, gender equity, the practicing-applied-public sector and world anthropologies in their relation to anthropology, anthropologists and the Association. AAA is seeking individuals to fill the following positions in each of the eight areas described below, including seats for two students involved in these issues:

• 1 Ethics Seat • 1 Human Rights Seat • 1 Gender Equity Seat • 1 Labor Seat • 1 Public Policy Seat • 1 World Anthropology Seat

• 1 Minority Issues Seat • 1 Practicing Seat • 2 Student Seats
