Initial Coaching Questions?
I am experiencing great conflict between head and heart. I really want to leave my full time job as soon as possible. There is just not any part of me that is happy here after 13 years and it's so difficult to even get motivated to go in the morning. However it currently provides for my family, gives me income to start my business, and is helping me through the transition of my husband's retirement so for that I am grateful. My heart really want to leave my job as soon as possible but my head says stay 9 more months and by that time you will be 1 year into the transition of your husband retiring and you'll have your business up and running for 7 months (practical).
So I think that doesn't sound so bad for just 9 more months and then my head says but what if I can't leave in 9 months because I've set my goals to high? But you really need to be out of there as soon as possible because you need to spend the 47 hours a week you currently spend in your full time job on your new business so you can get it to where I want it. I'm having this constant back and forth dialogue but then when I am thinking clearly my heart says put yourself out there and spirit will guide you to connections that will help you meet your goal. Any guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated as this transition is causing me a bit of turmoil. Michele
