Frequently Asked We are glad you are considering taking a short term missions trip. Please read below to learn what the requirements for all trips are. Each team member is asked to agree to the following: 1.
Live under the Lordship of Christ so that your lifestyle gives credibility to your profession of faith.
2.
Be a member or regular attendee in good standing at CFC.
3.
Fulfill team requirements for training.
4.
Raise the necessary prayer and financial support for the trip. Funds not raised by set deadlines must be covered by the individual team member. CFC is not responsible for covering the expenses of a team member.
5.
Submit to the direction of the team leader during training and on the field.
6.
Seek to be above reproach in his/her actions and attitudes.
7.
Make the necessary lifestyle adjustments in order to adapt to the culture of the host community.
8.
Refrain from the expression of political opinions while overseas due to the political instability and anti-American sentiment in many countries.
9.
Write a follow-up letter of thanks and report to your supporters within 2-3 weeks of your return.

[email protected] Questions Q. How do I pay for the trip? We are so blessed here at CFC to have Senders who partner with our short term participants through prayer and finances. Participants of all trips must pay personal money of 20%, but not more than $400 total for their portion of the trip expenses. Financial responsibilities and deadlines will be provided by CFC at your first team meeting. Q. What does the support cover? Support covers your travel costs (unless otherwise noted for a particular trip), insurance, food, lodging, visa, ministry expenses, and local ground transportation. Participants are responsible for passport, immunizations, personal needs and souvenirs. Q. Where do I get a passport? All trips require a passport which can be obtained from the Passport office located inside any DFW post office. Applications can be downloaded from the following internet sites: www.G3visas.com or Q. Will I need any immunizations? Each trip participant must have up-to-date tetanus shot. Immunizations may be needed for your specific trip. For the most up-to-date information regarding your particular trip, visit the CDC website at www.cdc.gov/travel. Q. Is there a waiver form? Each participant will be required to sign a Release/Waiver Form releasing CFC and it’s leadership and local out-of-country leadership from liability. Q. What training is required? CFC requires and provides training sessions covering fund raising, cultural adaptation, and specific training for the individual trips.

If you are a Sr. High or College Student, 17 yrs. or older and considering missions as your full-time vocational work, or if you have a heart for unreached peoples, this trip is for you. Come be a part of our second CFC trip to India.
This trip is for middle school students, and at least one of their parents. Experience work and ministry together and the resulting spiritual growth and closeness that your family can experience!
Travel to remote villages. Bring the love of Christ to Togolese, who need to understand who Jesus is and what He offers them. Participate in the showing of the Jesus film in a brand new language for those who have not heard. Approximate cost: $3,900.

OTHER Short Term Opportunities: If you desire to go on a trip that is not a CFC sponsored trip and you desire to raise financial support for that trip, please note the following: 1.
Acceptance by a mission agency or another church approved by CFC is required.
2.
Pick up and complete an Application for ShortTerm trips from the foyer. (Including reference forms). Submit your completed application and have your reference forms mailed at least 6 weeks before your first monies are due.

The Director of Missions will review the application and contact the applicant to schedule an interview with the Missions Team if applicable.

Upon return, attend a debriefing/follow up meeting with the missions agency, CFC missions leader, or Team Leader.
