The goal of the Lady Wildcats Softball Camp is to challenge each camper to learn essential leadership skills and athletic skills with fun and challenging sports training.

Camper Gear Checklist

Little Wildcats June 13-16, 2016 9:00am-12:00pm This camp is designed for athletes ages 5-12 years old that want to learn about softball. This four-day camp will provide athletes with basic throwing, fielding, hitting, and base running skills. The Little Wildcats will be engaged in fun and collaborative individual/team drills, situations, and games. If you want to get your young athlete engaged in softball, this is the camp for them!

The 2016 Lady Wildcats had a phenomenal season. They brought home a District VII Championship that has not been done since 2002!

Lady Wildcat Alumni Emily Mattone is a rising junior at Clemson University and is studying Animal and Veterinary Science. She is also a member of the Clemson Club Softball team, which has made it as a #1 seed in the NSSA World Series.

Fielding/Hitting Clinic July 21-22, 2016 9:00am-11:00am

This two-day clinic is designed to enhance your athletes’ knowledge, power, and skills.

¨ Bat ¨ Sunglasses ¨ Hat/Visor ¨ WATER ¨ Helmet (optional) ¨ Money for Canteen (Drinks, snacks, and additional Wildcat items will be available for purchase.)

Day 1 of the clinic will focus on fielding skills, in which your athlete will be challenged on game strategies, individual techniques, and mental toughness in game situations. Day 2 of the clinic will focus on developing proper hitting/slapping mechanics, power, and mental toughness at the plate. If you want to increase/build your athletes’ skills this is the camp for them!

Madison Labrador is a rising junior at Spartanburg Methodist College where she plays infield for the Pioneers. This year, she was named the Region X Player of the Year.
