3. Team Sign Create or purchase your team sign (if using poster board, please do not use the shiny side, it reflects light in team pictures). As small children may be carrying this sign, please make it manageable for them to handle. The team sponsor’s name should be HIGHLY VISIBLE in a larger font than any other wording on the sign. Sign cost is not the responsibility of the team. You may ask for donations but may not require parents to pay. Bring sign to pictures and parade. 4. Team Pictures Picture order envelopes are in your packet. Please complete the time and location for each envelope. Times will be sent to you when the schedule is complete. All pictures will be taken at Churchill School. Team Parents are to be present the day of pictures, as you will be needed to assist and coordinate your team. All team members should be present on Picture Day for the team photo in full uniform (no cleats) since all sponsors receive a team plaque at the end of the season. The photographer will collect the picture money on picture day. Any player, who does not submit his/her money at picture time, will not be individually photographed. These players will only be photographed for the team picture. It takes approximately four (4) weeks to receive the pictures. I will contact you when the pictures have arrived. Please distribute them at your team’s next practice or game. 5. Opening Day Parade Please be at the parade line-up to organize your team. The Opening Day Parade flyer will provide you and your team with the details of the parade. Please pass this information along to your team.

6. Clean-up Schedule Your team‘s date is located by “Clean-up Date” on the bottom of your roster. Every team has one (1) turn for field clean-up. Please remind your families the week prior to the assigned date.

7. Organize a team party 8. Make courtesy reminder calls to your families the week of their duty This is a courtesy call. Multiple attempts are not required. It is the family’s responsibility to remember their obligations. Additional Information As Team Parent, it is your responsibility to arrive 30 minutes prior to game time. If your team’s parent fails to show for his/her duty in the Stand or to umpire, the director/commissioner will come to you and you will need to attempt to contact the scheduled family. If you fail to reach the family please ask another family from your team to take the game. The no show family will be assigned that family’s game at a future date. If any parent fails to report for their Concession Stand or umpire duty whether or not you find a replacement, please assist the director in completing a “No Show” form located in the Stand so that I can adjust the schedule to reflect the change in duties for the family that stepped up. If their assigned date is inconvenient parents may opt to switch dates by contacting Angie Brandt or request a worker be hired to work their time slot. Parents who wish to hire a paid worker must communicate this to Angie Brandt by calling or texting 708-528-6018 48 hours before game day so that she can arrange for a worker. Only Concession President may change duties or hire teen workers. Families may not ask workers in the stand to work at game time. If a game is rained out and rescheduled, the parent who had Stand/Umpire duty for that game is responsible for the rescheduled time even if they hired a worker. Workers are to be paid in the event of a rainout and must be rehired and repaid if the family chooses for the rescheduled game. ROSTERS ARE TO BE COPIED AND DELIVERED TO YOUR PARENTS. Please photocopy one (1) copy of your Team Roster for each family. If parents live in separate residences, usually indicated by a different home phone number next to the parent’s name on the roster, each father and mother must be given their own roster/schedule. Commitments, however, are family commitments. Thank you again for your help; it is truly appreciated. We look forward to a great year! If you have any questions or issues, please contact me and I will be happy to help or answer any questions. Angie Brandt, Concession President [email protected] Cell: (708) 528-6018
