Players of the Week - Sept. 12 Player of the Week - MOLLY LIVINGSTON, High Point, MB, Soph. (Sun Prairie, Wis. ) In 15 sets of play last week, Livingston averaged 2.93 kills and 1.07 blocks per set for a .248 hitting percentage. She racked up 15 kills and five blocks with a .419 clip in the Panthers’ victory at N.C. State on Friday night. She backed those numbers up with nine kills against SMU and five blocks against Delaware on Saturday. The sophomore paced High Point’s offense to earn Wolfpack All-Tournament honors. Defensive Player of the Week - EMMA MILSTEAD, Gardner-Webb, Lib, R-Fr. (Knoxville, Tenn.) Milstead continued her strong season with a superb week where she averaged 5.38 digs per set and posted double-digit digs in all four matches. The redshirt-freshman tallied a season-high five service aces to go along with 14 digs against Delaware State, before she posted 19 digs in GWU’s sweep of Norfolk State on Saturday. The CRONS Brand Freshman of the Week - CASEY GOOD WIN, Liberty, RS, Fr. (Rougemont, N.C.) Goodwin had a strong weekend at the Davidson Wildcat Classic, where she averaged 3.63 kills per set, a .365 attack percentage, 0.77 aces per set and 0.85 blocks per set in three matches. For her performance, Goodwin was named to the all-tournament team.

2016 Big South Volleyball CAMPBELL Campbell finished the weekend 1-2 at the Campbell Invitational where the Camels fell to Navy and East Carolina but defeated South Carolina State. Campbell tied a season-high 59 kills in the match versus ECU Saturday night. The team recorded the second most aces on the season versus South Carolina State with 10. Against South Carolina State, Campbell notched its highest hitting percentage on the year with .359. JESSICA STOCKING led Campbell on the weekend with 31 kills and 40 digs. LONI KREUN added 21 kills and 24 digs. CHARLESTON SOUTHERN The Charleston Southern Buccaneers went 0-3 at the Hampton Inn Charleston/West Ashley CofC Classic this past weekend where they fell to Eastern Michigan, College of Charleston and VCU. BROOKE MONSSEN led the Bucs with 3.09 kills per set and a .163 hitting percentage over the weekend. Sophomore libero MADISON MARTIN continued her dominant play on the backline with 4.64 digs per set in earning All-Tournament honors. CAITLYN MICHALSKI (1.36) and KYLIE KLEIN (1.09) both averaged more than a block per set on the weekend. GARDNER-WEBB Gardner-Webb improved its record to 6-3 on the young season with a 3-1 week to push its win streak to five matches and 13 sets overall before falling to Elon in the final match of the Elon Phoenix Classic Saturday evening. For the week, the Runnin’ Bulldogs averaged a superb 2.8 service aces per set to push their season average to 1.62 per frame. EMMA MILSTEAD continued to be a force defensively and averaged 5.38 digs per set last week to push her season average to a league-leading 5.62 per frame. HIGH POINT High Point is off to a 7-3 start on the year for the program’s best start since opening the 2008 season with an 8-2 mark. Sophomore MOLLY LIVINGSTON has been steady so far this season making the all-tournament team in all three of the tournaments this season. Junior HALEY BARNES continues to lead the Panthers and ranks third in the Big South with 3.33 kills per set on the year. High Point’s win over N.C. State on Friday in the Wolfpack Invitational was the program’s first victory over an ACC foe since 2012 when it beat Wake Forest at home. LIBERTY On Saturday at Davidson, ANNA WILLEY became the 10th player in program history with 1,500 career assists. ANNA GRAGG had nine blocks against USC Upstate on Friday, which were the most by a Liberty freshman since LOREN THOMAS had nine at Presbyterian, Oct. 2, 2009 and HANNAH MORRIS had 51 assists against USC Upstate, which were the most by a Liberty freshman since JADE CRAYCRAFT‘S 52 assists at Coastal Carolina, Nov. 6, 2010. CASEY GOODWIN’S 20 kills versus USC Upstate were the most by a Liberty freshman since HANNAH WEIDNER’S 20 kills at Coastal Carolina. Oct. 18, 2014. Liberty posted a season-high 14 blocks against Furman on Saturday.

PRESBYTERIAN COLLEGE Presbyterian College struggled this weekend with losses to Binghamton, Fordham, and Northeastern. With three service aces against Fordham, MIKAYLA REGISTER has had at least one ace in every match this season. SAMANTHA DEL TORO has posted double-digit kills in the past five of six matches, and has hit over .241 in those as well. SARA ROGERS’ 41 assists against Binghamton marked the fifth match of her career she has posted over 40. The team’s .261 hitting percentage against Binghamton was the third highest of the season and the fifth match that the Blue Hose have hit over .200. Del Toro earned Northeastern Invitational All-Tournament honors after averaging 3.08 kills per set.

RADFORD Radford went 2-1 at the Spartan-Aggie Invitational over the weekend, bouncing back from a four-set loss to UNC Greensboro on Saturday with a sweep of Hampton and a five-set win over North Carolina A&T on Saturday. The Highlanders moved to 8-2 on the season, their best start through 10 matches since 2000. KAYLOR NASH and STEPHANIE NEAST were named to the All-Tournament Team, while MADDIE PALMER recorded double-doubles in two of the matches, giving her seven this season.

UNC ASHEVILLE The UNC Asheville Bulldogs went undefeated this weekend against North Carolina Central, Stetson, and Alabama A&M at the UNC Asheville Tournament. In the match against North Carolina Central, SHELBY ERICKSON posted a game-high 13 kills on 25 attempts (.400) and CARA GUTHRIE added 10 kills on 30 attempts (.067). Asheville also added two players to the All-Tournament team, ANSLEY ROOKS and Erickson who was the MVP of the Tournament. WINTHROP Winthrop had its first winning week of the season, going 3-1 with victories over Georgia Southern, Robert Morris and Morgan State. CARLIE SKELTON was named to the All-Tournament Team over the weekend.
