Round-robin pool play will be conducted at the BDHS Softball Complex. Four teams will compete in each pool. After pool play has been completed, teams from each pool will compete as determined by order of finish within pool. If tied at the end of 7 innings, we will use the international Tie Breaker to determine the winner. Implementation of the rule will be discussed in the pre-game meeting with the umpires prior to each contest. Teams will be allowed a 10-minute warm-up period prior to all games except for the 11:00 a.m. game on Saturday. There will be no on field warm-up period for the 11:00 game. Home team will be determined by coin toss. Loser of toss has choice of bench area, except when playing Ben Davis. Pool Play tiebreakers: a. Head to head (if two teams are tied) b. Least runs allowed (if three teams are tied) c. coin toss Tickets: $10.00 season pass. Single game tickets will be sold for the Friday night session and championship game ($5.00). The season pass entitles the ticketholder to admission to all games. Entry fee: $100.00 and Four IHSAA approved softball s. Teams should present four game balls to the Concession Stand prior to starting tournament play. A championship and runner-up tournament trophy will be awarded after the championship game. In the event of rain, the Athletic Directors and Umpires will make decisions concerning a revised game schedule. All other IHSAA and National Federation rules will govern play.
