Meet at Town Hall Department Heads, Council, Mayor, Seth, Gretchen Topics: o Social Meet & Greet o Welcome & Introductions  Mayor & Council Presentations o History – Gretchen Costner o Seth’s Presentation  Small Project to present to Council discussed with citizens  Choice of president, vice president, secretary made by citizens

Session Two: August 29th, 2017 at 6pm   

Meet at Old Rock School Waldensian Room then to Valdese Public Works Bryan Duckworth, Seth Eckard, Morrissa Angi Topics: o Presentation & Tour of Valdese Public Works Dept. o Utility Line Discussion

Session Three: September 12th, 2017 at 6pm    

Meet at Old Rock School – Shuttle provided to Water & Wastewater Plants ** Break up into 2 groups of 10 Jerry Conley, Greg Padgett, Seth Eckard, Morrissa Angi Topics: o Tour of Water Plant o Tour of Wastewater Plant

Session Four: September 19th, 2017 at 6pm   

Meet at Old Rock School Waldensian Room Morrissa Angi, Seth Eckard, Rose Mueller, Maryann Diamond, Larry Johnson Topics: o Planning Department Presentation o Discussion of Main Street Program – Ask WT o Presentation from VMA Rep. o Presentation from Farmers Market Rep. o Tour Old Rock School  Promotions & Events  Tourism – Day Trips  Time permitting – Overview of OCP, RSAF, PWRR

Session Five: September 26th, 2017 at 6pm   

Meet at Valdese Recreation Department – Shuttle Provided for Park Tour Doug Knight, Seth Eckard, Morrissa Angi Topics: o Parks & Rec presentation o Tour of McGalliard Falls

Session Six: October 3rd, 2017 at 6pm    

Meet at Old Rock School then walk to Police & Fire Department Jack Moss, Charlie Watts, Seth Eckard, Morrissa Angi 2 groups of 10 Topics: o Tour of Fire Department o Tour of Police Department

Session Seven: October 10th, 2017 at 6pm   

Meet at Town Hall Department Heads Involved, Town Council, Mayor, Press Topics: o Presentation by Citizens for small project to benefit Valdese o Question & Answer Session o Survey given to participants o Conclusion o Graduation & Presentation of Certificates
