Here at Scoular Pratt, we are very thankful for a successful harvest season! We genuinely enjoy serving our local producers here at Scoular, and we are proud to be a part of the community. Thank you for your business – you can Count on Scoular People to continue to serve you with integrity and proficiency. We look forward to many more prosperous harvests with you and your family!
Fall Harvest Recap Another successful harvest at Scoular is in the books! We received a record crop to date and are thankful for the opportunity to grow with our local producers. Our new soybean shuttle program worked quite well and allowed us to handle all your fall crops in one location. Many producers took advantage of our FOB field program. This allowed them to keep their focus where it needed to be, in the field. Within this program, we can assist in mapping your fields, preparing harvest cards, and discussing your rates prior to harvest. Give us a call to learn more.
New Arrivals You may have noticed two new faces around the elevator this fall. Merchandisers, Travis Thimesch and Ryan Napier, joined the team just before wheat harvest, and we are happy to welcome them to the team! Our own Vince Utter and his wife Libby welcomed another addition to the Scoular Pratt crew this year. Baby Owen Ray Utter arrived just before the start of wheat harvest as well. Vince and Libby have had their hands full, but are enjoying every minute of being first-time parents.
Customer Appreciation - Save the Date! It is always a pleasure to meet with our local customers and show our appreciation for their business. Please join us for dinner and door prizes on January 9. Scoular’s senior risk manager, Mark Knight, will be back in town to discuss our fall ProHedge pricing programs for corn, milo, and soybeans. Mark and our merchandising team will be available to connect and answer your questions, as well as provide up-to-date market activity.
