The Highlander Louisiana bus originates in Baton Rouge and stops in Jackson and Atlanta on its way to camp. Payment for the bus and luggage service is due in full upon receipt of this signed form. Seats will not be held without this form. It is possible for the bus to be cancelled by April 1st pending interest. The bus schedule allows campers to sleep through the night and arrive to camp before lunch to join their cabin-mates for opening day activities. Bus chaperones will communicate by social media to keep parents apprised of the bus trip to camp and then all parents will be called once the bus arrives to camp. We will be packing a healthy breakfast for campers to eat on the way, as well as making additional stops at rest areas. Each child is welcome to bring one backpack and snacks for the bus ride. All camper food remaining after the bus ride will be collected by camp and not permitted in the cabins. Luggage service will allow one trunk and small duffel bag ONLY. Cell phones and electronic devices are allowed on the bus, but must be surrendered for safe keeping upon arriving at camp. These devices will be given back to the camper for the bus ride back home.

The Highlander Bus is part of the Young Transportation Fleet and is equipped with following amenities: air conditioning, onboard restrooms, reclining seats, electrical outlets, DVD Player, DirecTV, Wi-Fi and luggage storage. Safety and reliability are the top priority! Highlander staff members are positioned throughout the bus to be close by in case your camper needs assistance. I understand that Camp Highlander is released from any and all liability, including but not limited to liability for its own negligence and/or that of Young Transportation, Inc., and any adverse results that may occur during such transportation. I agree to release Camp Highlander and its employees and officers from all liability with reference to the above stated transportation. I understand that space is limited and reserved only with appropriate fees and this completed contract, and that these said fees are non-refundable. Camp Highlander is not responsible for any tardiness of campers resulting in missed transportation. I also understand that if my child has a fever or is too sick to ride the bus home, it will be my responsibility to pick him/her up on the closing day by Noon.
