Wilkinson became the fastest coach in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference history to achieve the feat, doing so in his 86th game on the sidelines... Former Siena Head Coach Brian Brecht held the previous conference record after he got his 50th win in his 93rd career game... Wilkinson is 53-37 in his career including 24-11 in MAAC contests. ACTIVE LEADER: Now in his final season in red and white Recor is currently among the top five in the nation in three of the six NCAA active career offensive categories. REWRITING THE RECORd BOOKS: Recor broke Marist’s all-time assists record with 47 seconds left in the Red Foxes’ win versus Drexel on March 4, feeding junior Mitchell Standera for a goal. His 116th career assist moved him ahead of Chris Pistello, who had 115 when his career ended in 1998... Recor needs two more assists to break the MAAC all-time record of 129 set by Manhattan’s Eugene Tanner in 2005... Recor also became the fourth Red Fox all time to reach 200 career points, doing so against Drexel when he assisted on a goal by junior Gannon Morrison. Recor is tied with Peter Cleary ‘89 for second place on Marist’s all-time list with 217. Only Paul Donohue ‘02 (229) has more. CENTURY MARK: Morrison became the 17th Red Fox to reach 100 career points when Marist hosted UMBC on March 11. He reached the total in his 40th career game... The Red Foxes had five players reach 100 points during the 2015 season, which was Morrison’s freshman year... Morrison notched a career-high seven points in the Red Foxes’ season opening victory at Colgate on Feb. 11. SOLID ATTACK: Marist’s attack unit is fifth in the nation in combined career points (341)... Marist attackers have combined for 83 points this season (6.38 per game). STREAK IN TACT: Freshman Joe Tierney has notched a point in all 13 games for Marist this season, making six starts. He picked up his first career hat trick in Marist’s win at Quinnipiac on April 8 and set a new career high with four points against Manhattan on April 15... Tierney is second on the team with 16 assists and third in points with 25. SAVING GRACE: Corrigan leads the MAAC and is second in the country in save percentage (.614) this year. He is first in the conference in saves per game (12.00) and second in goals against average (7.71)...Corrigan ranks 10th and sixth in the nation in saves per game and goals against average respectively. NATIONALLY RANKED: Marist beat no. 14 Air Force, 10-4, on Feb. 18 making it the second time in as many years it has defeated a nationally ranked opponent... The Red Foxes came in at no. 20 in the U.S. Lacrosse Magazine Men’s Division I Top 20 on Feb. 20. They have also received votes in the Inside Lacrosse Maverik Media Poll three times and the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Coaches’ polls twice in 2017. CLAMPING DOWN: The Red Foxes are holding opponents to 12-for-44 (.273) on man up opportunities this season. Marist’s man down defense is ranked first in the MAAC and 14th in the nation. Conversely, Siena’s man up offense is fourth in the nation with a .531 conversion percentage... Marist’s opponents are averaging 6.75 goals per game the last four conference contests. MAAC CHAMPIONSHIP HOSTS: Marist College will host the 2017 MAAC Men’s Lacrosse Championship on May 5 and 7 in Tenney Stadium. The Red Foxes won the bid to host back in March... Semifinal game times are set for 4 and 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on MAAC.tv. The final will take place at 10 a.m. May 7 and be broadcast on ESPNU... This year will mark the third time in the last four years and 10th time overall that the Red Foxes have hosted the championship since men’s lacrosse joined the conference in 1995... Marist has won its two MAAC titles in Tenney Stadium.

Head Coach: Keegan Wilkinson (Saint Joseph’s, ‘06) - Sixth Season Assistant Coach: Mike Gongas (Adelphi, ‘07) - Fourth Season Assistant Coach: Ian Farley (Sacred Heart ‘15) - First Season

Head Coach Keegan Wilkinson Keegan Wilkinson was named head coach of the Marist men’s lacrosse program on June 28, 2011. Wilkinson became the fastest head coach in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference history to reach 50 career wins when the Red Foxes took down Holy Cross, 8-5, on March 25, 2017. He achieved the feat in his 86th game on the sidelines for Marist. In 2016 Wilkinson led Marist to its third straight appearance in the MAAC Championship game. The Red Foxes were the no. 2 seed in the tournament after finishing 4-2 in conference play and ended the year 9-7 overall. Marist took two MAAC major awards at the end of the regular season as Joseph Radin was named the Offensive Player of the Year for the second straight time and goalie Brian Corrigan earned Defensive Player of the Year. Following the season Wilkinson was named head coach of the North squad in the 75th United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association North-South All-Star Game. Wilkinson led the Red Foxes to their winningest season in program history and was named MAAC Coach of the Year in 2015 when Marist ended its season ranked 20th in the nation. Marist made its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2005 and hosted the first playoff contest in the college’s history when the Red Foxes defeated Bryant, 106, in a First Four game in front of a record crowd of 1,873 fans in Tenney Stadium. The win was the first NCAA Tournament victory in program history. In Wilkinson’s third season as head coach in 2014, he led his Red Foxes to a 6-9 overall record with a 3-3 mark in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference en route to Marist’s first MAAC Championship game appearance since 2005. Wilkinson is a 2006 graduate of Saint Joseph’s University, where he was a four-year starter at attack and a two-year captain. He led Saint Joseph’s in assists and points three times in his career and finished his collegiate career with 54 goals and 83 assists. He is ranked second on the school’s all-time assists list and seventh in career points (137). Year 2017 2016 2015 2014 2013 2012 Career

#VOTE4JD

Marist men’s lacrosse senior attack J.D. Recor was selected as one of 10 finalists nationwide for the 2017 Senior CLASS Award. An acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School, the Senior CLASS Award focuses on the total student-athlete and encourages students to use their platform in athletics to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities. To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition. Fan votes will be combined with those of the media and Division I head coaches to determine the winner, which will be announced at the 2017 NCAA Men’s Lacrosse National Championships in Boston from May 27-29. Fan voting for the national award ends Tuesday, May 9.

EC34

In August 2011 the Marist College community unexpectedly lost men’s lacrosse midfielder Edward Coombs prior to his sophomore year. Coombs lost his life in a car accident near his hometown of Horsham Township, Pennsylvania. Each member of the Marist men’s lacrosse team wears a patch of a black circle with the white initials EC on their jersey to honor his life. The Red Foxes started a new tradition in 2015, choosing a different senior at the beginning of each season to wear Coombs’ no. 34. Former Marist goalie Dave Scarcello was the inaugural recipient of this honor followed by attack Joseph Radin in 2016. This year Eddie’s high school teammate at Hatboro-Horsham, current Marist senior captain Jimmy Murphy, will wear the no. 34 jersey. Eddie was a well-respected member of the Marist community by staff and students.
