Registration Requirements:
It is the competitor’s responsibility to register for this program before the date of the event in which you plan to compete. If you fail to register before the event, no contingency will be paid for the event. Contingency participants only need to register for this program once per year unless there is a change to your original registration. Participants may register for this program at: http://www.maxxisrc1.com/.
Usage Requirements:
1. To be eligible for this program, competitors must be using Maxxis RC-1 and VR-1 Tires on all four wheel positions.

Decals Requirement: YES Patch required on drivers suit: YES, located on torso of driver’s suit. # of Decals: 4 Location: One decal must be used on each front fender along with one on the center of the front and rear bumper- 18" wide minimum along with one 18" wide minimum decal being used on the front and one being used on the rear. No exceptions will be made for this rule. No competing tire decals may be present on car or drivers suit. 6. Decal Color: Decals used must be the officially supplied Maxxis decals. 7. Decal and Patch availability: Decals are available trackside at each NASA event. AIX, GTSU, GTS1, GTS2, GTS3, GTS4, GTS5, PTB, PTC, PTD, PTE, PTF, ST1, ST2, ST3, SU, TTU, TT1, TT2, TT3, TTB, TTC, TTD, TTE, TTF, ES, ESR, E0, E1, E2, E3 Product awards are presented to 1st-3rd place finishers meeting the starting requirements outlined above; vehicles must complete race, DNFs are not eligible for awards. Contingency forms must be completely filled out and include all supplemental information; copy of official results, proof of purchase & photos of all four decals (first time only). Original tire purchase must be of four (4) tires which your proof of purchase must display. Contingency claim must be made by the person who originally purchased the MAXXIS RC-1 and VR-1 tires.
All documents/forms must be submitted through: http://nasaproracing.com/contingency/redeem Proof of Purchase of your tires must be submitted. Photos alone of your tires are not an accepted alternative. A maximum of four tires will be awarded per vehicle, per race weekend. One race per day. Competitors may only submit claims for the same size tire for which they can provide proof of purchase. Contingency forms must be presented to NASA within 30 days of event conclusion and no later than December 31, 2017. Tires must be purchased at full retail price without any discount or promotion to be eligible for the contingency program (eg. Maxxis’ HPDE Discount promotion). Contingency awards are non-transferable and are redeemable for tires only. See Payout schedule above for award amounts.
