2017 Missouri State Championship Criterium - USA Cycling
2017 Missouri State Championship Criterium Sunday, August 6th, Jefferson City, Missouri $850+ in Cash and Prizes Presented by Big Shark Bicycle Company Course Description: A fast .85 mile loop around the historic State Capital Building in downtown Jefferson City, the course features exciting turns and a few short climbs. The Missouri State Championship Time Trial will be held August 5th- in Centralia, MO- just east of Columbia, MO. Registration: Race day registration opens at 7:30 am. Registration will close 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start of each event. Pre-Registration Entry fee is $35 prior to July 1st, $40.00 after July 1st. Race day entry fee is $45.00. Race entry for a second race is $20. Junior entry is $15.00 Fee includes $4.50 rider insurance/MOBRA surcharge. Pre-register at www.bikereg.com - please note an online surcharge will apply. No refunds, races will occur rain or shine. Directions: From Kansas City- Take 70 East to 63 south, exit at Main St. and proceed towards the gigantic, domed building that looks like it could possibly be the State Capital, park, race. Please Note: Each Category will be competing for a Missouri State Championship Jersey. We will award separate jerseys in Master’s races in which there are combined age groups. Missouri residents are eligible for State Championship Jerseys. There must be three riders per field for a jersey to be awarded. USAC State Championship medals will be awarded to all categories. Only one jersey awarded per person per day, multiple medals will be awarded in the event that an athlete wins two State Championship categories. Categories will be separated or combined accordingly for BAR scoring. Payout: Cash payouts 5 deep will be as follows: $150 purse- $50, $40, $30, $20, $10. $200 purse-$60, $50, $40, $30, $20.
