The Stonewall Jackson Basketball Team has been a consistent contender in the Virginia 6A Northern Region for the past seven years. During that time the Raiders have secured a regional berth for six consecutive seasons including two regional semi-final appearances and winning a conference championship. The main contributing factor to the Raiders sustained excellence is the amount of training and development that the team commits to in the offseason. The Raider Basketball Camp is a wonderful opportunity to build the culture of hard work and excellence in the Western Prince William basketball community. ******************************************** Marcus Lawrence – Camp Director Coach Lawrence enters his seventeenth year as the head boys coach. He is a two-time coach of the year and has won two conference titles. He believes in hard work and a commitment to excellence on and off the court.

The Stonewall Basketball Camp is designed to teach kids the fundamentals of the game of basketball in a fun environment. Each camper will be taught the following: DEFENSIVE FUNDAMENTALS
Proper stance and footwork Rebounding On ball and help side technique
OFFENSIVE FUNDAMENTALS
Shooting Ball-handling Passing Individual Moves
TEAM FUNDAMENTALS Players will be assigned to a coached team to help implement the individual skills taught into a team setting. While basketball is stressed, campers will enjoy a well-planned week of basketball and fun!
Camp Waiver
This is a sample schedule of what a typical day at the basketball camp looks like.

The undersigned, being a parent or legal guardian of the child requesting camp admittance, does hereby affirm that the applicant is physically able to perform activities conducted at the Raider Basketball Camp and I hereby authorize any medical evaluation or treatment which may be advised or recommended by the attending certified athletic trainer of my child while at the Raider Basketball Camp. In consideration of my application being accepted, intending to be legally bound, do hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators, waive and release and forever discharge any and all claims for damages, which I may have or which may hereafter occur to me against the Raider Basketball Camp and Stonewall Jackson High School or their respective officers, agents, representative, successors, and/or assigns, for any or all damages which may be sustained or suffered by me in connection with my association with, or participation in, the Raider Basketball Camp activities. I, the parent or guardian, do hereby agree to the above waiver and release.
