2017 RMAC CROSS COUNTRY: PRESEASON ALL-RMAC RELEASE PRESEASON RUNNERS OF THE YEAR ALICJA KONIECZEK WESTERN SR. | ZBASZYN, POLAND Konieczek finished third individually in the 6K at the 2016 RMAC Cross Country Championships with a time of 22:39.01. She was the runner-up at the NCAA South Central Regional Championship. Her perfomance helped Western finish third at the NCAA DII Cross Country Championship, where she took 11th place with a time of 20:45.1. Her efforts landed her a first team All-RMAC and first team All-Academic spot last year.
SYDNEY GIDABUDAY ADAMS STATE JR. | ORANGE, CALIF. Gidabuday was named RMAC Runner of the Year last season. He finished first individually in the 6k at the 2016 RMAC Cross Country Championships with a time of 25:16.68. With a time of 31:27.8 in the 10K at the 2016 NCAA South Central Regional Championship, he helped Adams State secure a second place spot. Adams State took first place in the NCAA DII Cross Country Championship, led by Gidabuday's fourth place finish in the 10K with a time of 29:56.8. He made first team All-RMAC last season due to his efforts.
