2018 BGRA BAT RULES All composite bats must have either a "BPF 1.15”, “USA Baseball”, or "BBCOR” stamp. Composite bats that are not certified with the required stamp will not be allowed for use in BGRA games and practices. The transition from the handle to the barrel can be composite.

Bat barrel diameters: Tee-ball, Pinto, Farm, Stallion, Thoroughbred: •

If using a “BPF 1.15” approved bat: Big barrel bats are "not" allowed; the barrel size must not exceed 2 ¼ inches in diameter.



If using a “USA Baseball” approved bat: Big barrel bats are allowed; the barrel size must not exceed 2 5/8 inches in diameter.

Palomino, Colt, Senior Colt: •

Big barrel bats are allowed; the barrel size must not exceed 2 5/8 inches in diameter.

There are no Drop restrictions in any league. For Coyotes (LSFBL), the rules can be found here: http://www.lsfbl.com/ The LSFBL Board has made several decisions relating to 2018 Bat Rules and the timing of the 2018 season as follows: • •

the League will continue to follow its current bat rules, using the 1.15 BPF standard, but will also allow the use of the new USA Baseball marked bats. the League will now allow the use of 2 5/8 inch barreled bats at the 9U level (10U – 14U already use this standard). 8U baseball will continue to use the 2 1/4 inch barrel standard.
