2018 Camp Themes & Trips Week 1: July 3- 6 Intrepid Explorers Get ready to explore the depths of the ocean, outer space, mountain tops, and even the wonderful new world of Campopolis!! Test your exploration skills to see if you can discover the home of the mysterious moppet! Electives: Woodworking or Incredible Edibles Trip/Event: Chippawa Creek Conservation Area Week 2: July 9-13 Fiesta! Join us for our Mexican Fiesta! Enjoy Piñatas, Mexican games and crafts, and learn some Spanish words and songs! Electives: Crazy Concoctions or Sports Trip/Event: Bissell’s Hideaway Week 3: July 16-20 Medieval Times Calling all lords and ladies! You’re invited to the ca castle for a week of medieval fun, topped off with our on-site site feast! Catch the jester in action and be entertained by the castle minstrels! Electives: Artistic Adventure or Sports Trip/Event: On site medieval feast and swimming. (Swimming is limited to Grades 2 and older.) olde Week 4: July 23-27 Wheel of Themes It’s a mystery! A spin of the wheel each morning will tell us what the day’s theme will be!! The potential themes are: Christmas in July, Off the Grid, Backwards Day, Foodtastic, Campout, and Clowning Around. Electives: Nature Quest or Whacky Fun Trip/Event: Bissell’s Hideaway Week 5: July 30- August 3 Discover Ontario! Join us on a tour of our province and discover iscover interesting people, amazing inventions, remarkable landmarks and fascinating creatures! Participate in a friendly competition with other groups to see who can win the Ontario Cup! Electives: Artistic Adventure or It Flies! Trip/Event: Chippawa Creek Conservation Area Week 6: August 6-10 Western Roundup Yeehaw! You’re just in time for our rodeo! So slap on your cowboy boy hats, tie your bandanas and join us for our western roundup! Electives: Sports or Crazy Concoctions Trip/Event: Large inflatable obstacle course on site and hot dog lunch. Week 7: August 13-17 Sensational Science Science! Discover more about our place in space! Enjoy fascinating eexperiments, real fossils, and great scientists!
