2018 District 2 Western Region Umpire Outreach Clinic
Have you ever been called out of the stands to help umpire a game? Have you ever made a “safe” and “out” call at the same time? Are you a NEW “UIC” for your local League? Are you a Manager/Coach being told to umpire games? Do you need to just shake off the cobwebs for the upcoming season?
If you answered “Yes” to any of these questions, this is the event for you!!!! California District 2 is hosting a Western Region Umpire Mechanics Clinic
Featuring: Western Region trained instructors teaching at the event. In depth personalized instruction in plate mechanics with cage work. Detailed instruction of field mechanics, positioning, timing and communication. An opportunity to ask questions of Reginal and World Series Umpires. The chance to meet a variety of other umpires and make new contacts.

Rules Clinic Sutter High School Auditorium 2665 Acacia Ave Sutter, CA 95982
Things you need to know: Proper protective equipment (including cup for male umpires) is required for all cage work. Clinic attendees must be 16 years or older. This is a Rain or Shine event, dress accordingly. Dressing in layers is highly recommended. Clothing: Umpire appropriate attire and base shoes (no metal cleats).
