Ways to Fulfill Your Pledge to St. Philip’s Episcopal Church There are many ways to give to St. Philip's. However, you give, designate clearly where the gift is to be applied. For a pledge payment, include the language "2018 Pledge Operating Fund." Check - payable to St. Philip’s Episcopal Church. Bring to church in person or via US mail. Automatic Bill Pay - initiated by you through your bank or other financial institution. This is usually a free service and can be used on a one-time or a recurring basis. Monthly Electronic Debit - from a checking account. An authorization form is available from Janice Glasser ([email protected]). After completing the form, deliver it, mail it, or email it to Janice. A new form is needed each year. It does not “roll over.” Debit or Credit Card - In 2018, you can pay your pledge using debit or credit cards. Card payment will be available online on our website or see Janice at the church during office hours. Appreciated Stock - Contact Janice Glasser ([email protected] or 919-682-5807) for instructions before initiating a stock transfer. QCD (Qualified Charitable Distribution) from an IRA - If you are at least age 70 ½ and own an IRA, you may be able to make a contribution directly to St. Philip’s from the IRA and have that gift satisfy a required minimum distribution for the current year.
