2018 Summer Cardinal Basketball Camps at Skagit Valley College Two separate weeks of day camp will be held at David Duvall Pavilion: June 18-21 and June 26-28, 2018.
This event/activity is not being sponsored by Skagit Valley College or the following school districts: Concrete School District #11, Mount Vernon, Sedro Wooley, Stanwood-Camano School District, and the Burlington Edison school District. The District assumes no responsibility for the conduct or safety of the event/activity. The Cardinals staff has put together an outstanding day camp designed for boys entering second through eleventh grades. In addition to daily games and drills, you’ll learn:
Sound fundamentals of offense and defense
How to develop a self-confident and positive mental attitude
The importance of team play
You’ll receive focused individual instruction. In addition, all campers get a Cardinal T-shirt for participating.

Instructions: Return completed form to hold a spot in the camp. There will also be a camp store where campers can purchase snacks throughout the week. The store will also provide a bank for campers during the week.

Coach Veltri has directed and worked a number of basketball camps, including Phoenix Suns, University of Utah, University Wyoming, University of Richmond, Arizona State, Virginia Common Wealth, Seattle Pacific, Carroll College and Idaho State.

Cardinal Boys Basketball Camps run Monday through Thursday, June 18-21 and June 25-28. Camp will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break from 12 noon to 1 p.m.
Brock Veltri is in his fifth year as head coach and Camp Director for SVC. He has been coaching college basketball for the past 17 years. Coach Veltri’ s travels have taken him across the western United States coaching in Idaho, Arizona, Washington and Montana.

I certify that my child has had a physical exam in the last six months and that the results of the exam indicated that he is physically able to participate in the strenuous activity associated with a basketball camp. I agree that the participant and I assume the risk for all injuries which may result from participation in the camp. I further understand that both minor and catastrophic sports injuries may occur through no fault of the coaching staff and that my child is covered by health insurance to cover these injuries.

I will accept the financial and legal responsibility for any injuries that may result from camp activities. I hereby authorize Skagit Valley College as my agent to give consent to surgical and medical treatment for the participant when treatment is deemed necessary by the attending physician.

Coming from north or south on I-5, take the College Way Exit (#227) Turn east as you exit the interstate. Skagit Valley College is located 2 miles up College Way on the left. Park in front of the Cardinal Activity Center. The Pavilion sits directly behind it.
