2018 SUMMER Hurdles, Jumps & Speed Development Camp Hosted by “Shocker Fitness with Coach Bolt” Come join us in historic Cessna Stadium for great Hurdle, High Jump, Long Jump, Triple Jump and Speed Development instruction with Wichita State University Track & Field Head Coach Steve Rainbolt, also known as Coach Bolt. He will be assisted by Heidi Yost, WSU Horizontal Jumps Coach, along with current and former WSU track & field athletes. This camp is suitable for athletes ages 11-18 (6th-12th grade) of all levels, beginner to advanced. (Wichita State Track and Field Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.) It is a wonderful opportunity to continue building upon technique from your high school track season. Athletes will learn how to train with the proper technique for the hurdles, LJ, TJ, HJ and speed development. This camp can benefit athletes of any and all sports that strive to improve their speed and power and is set up for athletes to get instruction on any of the above events/disciplines each day of camp. This format gives the athletes the opportunity and flexibility to try a different event, if they choose, and to focus on the events they already compete in. The camp cost is $120 and will be conducted at Cessna Stadium on the campus of WSU on June 11th, 12th and 13th from 8:30am to 11:30am.
