Handicap will be 90% of the individual average from 220 in each division, except classic singles, which will be scratch. Entrants shall use their highest USBC book average. If a player does not have a book average they will use a current average of at least nine (9) games (league sheet must be attached). A USBC 2017 summer average of (9) games or more can be used if the Association Manager has a copy of the final average sheet on file, and there is no winter average. All others will bowl scratch if they do not have a verifiable average by January 25, 2018. You must have a current USBC membership and bowl in the GRSUSBC Association in order to bowl this tournament. Bowlers are not limited to the number of times they may enter the team event, providing there are no more than (2) of the same bowlers on a new team. THE FIRST TEAM EVENT SERIES IS TO BE COUNTED IN ALL EVENTS. Pacers will not be allowed. Team event in all divisions may consist of (4) boys, (4) girls or mixed. A bowler may enter the doubles/singles event only once. If you bowl doubles you must bowl singles. Bowlers may enter doubles with someone other than their own division. Doubles will be bowled first. Doubles in all divisions may consist of (2) boys, (2) girls or mixed. If one bowler is late for the doubles event, the entrant present will bowl their singles event first. If their partner has not arrived by the time the singles event is finished and a substitute is not available they will be permitted to bowl their games in the doubles event in order to qualify for all events. Substitutes will be allowed to bowl once in doubles. Everyone who bowls team, doubles, and singles will be placed in all events in their respective divisions. Suitable attire must be worn. No tank tops, No hats, clothing depicting obscene language, gestures, tobacco or alcohol products will be allowed. No sagging pants will be allowed. No electronic devises of any kind (cell phones, i-pods etc). Final determination of proper attire will be at the discretion of the tournament director or their designee. Spectators smoke and drink in the bar area only A bowler may be suspended from the tournament for using any tobacco products, alcoholic beverages, using foul language or gestures. Results will be posted within 30 days after the completion of the tournament in each bowling center. Until then all results are considered unofficial. Divisions: The number of entries will determine the number of divisions. Classic singles and all events will be a scratch division. Each division of team, doubles and singles must have a minimum of (6) entries. In the event that fewer than (6) entries are received, those entries received will be classified in an appropriate division. Scholarship: Scholarship money will be presented for every (5) entries in each division of team, doubles and singles. SMART ACCT #9892 First place only is presented in scratch and handicap all events in each division, scratch scores will take precedence. One individual cannot win both of these awards. A first place will be presented regardless of the number of entries within a division. The top (8) boys and top (8) girls, regardless of division, with the highest scratch all events scores will automatically be entered into the City Masters. There will be (2) boy and (2) girl alternates in the event that one of the top eight qualifiers is unavailable to bowl. The City Masters will be held on February 4, 2018 at National Bowling Stadium beginning at 9:00 am. Any rules not set forth in this entry form will be covered by the general USBC playing rules. Any appeals or protests regarding scores or eligibility must be made in writing to the tournament director within 24 hours after the error or infraction has occurred. The decision of the board will be final, except where an appeal is made in writing within 72 hours to the local USBC association.

Coaches Memorial Scholarship Tournament The coaches Memorial Tournament will be run in conjunction with the City Tournament. Anyone wishing to participate will pay an additional $7.00 entry fee, and will use their doubles and singles scores for the scholarship tournament. You may sign up at the tournament or pay your fee with your city entry form.
Entry Fees: $17.00 per bowler per event ($7.50 lineage, $8.50 awards, $1.00 expenses)
