2019 Esso Cup Canada’s National Female Midget Championship Dear Potential Sponsor: Recently Hockey Canada announced that the City of Greater Sudbury in conjunction with the Ontario Women’s Hockey Association, and the Sudbury & District Girls Hockey Association were the successful bidders for the 2019 Esso Cup, Canada’s National Female Midget Championship. This event will showcase the top female midget hockey players from across Canada and it will take place from April 21 to April 27, 2019. Hockey Canada has shown great faith in the Sudbury community as the city will also host the 2018 TELUS Cup, Canada’s National Midget Boys Championship in April of 2018. To host an event such as the Esso Cup the local Host Committee will have to rely on the always supportive corporate community to ensure we are able to make the event one to remember for all participants, officials and family members. All profit from this event will be directed to a legacy fund that will be used to support local female hockey initiatives in the Sudbury area.
