Dear Rensselaer Football Family, It’s GREAT to be an Engineer! With spring around the corner, we are excited to unite alumni, current players, and our coaching staff at the 20th Annual RPI Football Golf Outing. Players and coaches have been working tirelessly with off season workouts, recruiting efforts, and establishing a positive culture in preparation for the 2017 season. We are grateful for the outstanding commitment shown by our players, coaches, parents, support staff and the Rensselaer Football Alumni Association. You have played a significant role in helping our program contend in the Liberty League and on the national Division III level. Thank you for all that you do. The 20th Annual RPI Football Golf Outing will take place at Frear Park with an 11am registration and a 12pm shot gun start. The outing will provide a great opportunity for our current and former players to celebrate the past, enjoy the present and look ahead to the future. This program’s goal has been to offer our student-athletes the finest Division III football experience in the country. We will continue to move closer towards that goal with the continued efforts of our alumni, parents, and supporters who believe in RPI Football. This is your chance to help us as we expect the golf outing and our football program to reach new heights. The 2017 season will be another step towards our goal of winning the Liberty League Championship again and contending at the national level. Thank you for anything you can do to help support this great event.

Please take a look at the Special Sponsorship Opportunities. If you are unable to attend, there are plenty of ways for you to contribute. Perhaps you or your company can sponsor a hole or donate an item for our silent auction. Maybe you know a star athlete who will sign a jersey or a football. Auction items can be anything that would be of interest or value. Another way of supporting the event is simply donating directly to the program. All of the donations generated will go directly to the football program to help with such things as equipment, uniforms, team travel and recruiting. As you know, momentum can be a powerful force on the football field. It is also true of an event that brings people together to celebrate a special cause.
