SUMMER VEG COCONUT AND CASHEW KORMA Spice Box

‡ PICKED BY: Ashleigh Arnott, Time Out writer and editor

‘I’m the kid who runs after the ice cream van for seconds, so vegan, gluten-free curry is not the food I expected to be blown away by on my last visit to Druid Street Market. But SpiceBox’s summer vegetable coconut and cashew korma is a miraculously creamy taste sensation that you’ll barely believe is healthy. Apparently they even deliver. I’m never using Just Eat again.’ ‡ EAT IT AT: Druid Street Market, Bermondsey (Saturdays), and Kerb Does Alchemy Festival, Southbank Centre (daily until Mon May 30). £8.

BRACIOLE SANDWICH Capish?

‡ PICKED BY: Tom Browne, founder and head chef at Decatur, Haggerston, @decaturlondon

‘New York Italian food has a big place in my heart and Rachel Jones’s rendition of this classic of rolled beef stuffed with pecorino, garlic and parsley comes braised in a Genovese sauce made with onions and bone marrow. One for all the real mamalukes in London missin’ a taste of home – and great to eat any time of the day!’ ‡ EAT IT AT: Kerb, various locations see @capishfood for more info. £8.50.

Lobster Roll

Where to get stuffed: Londonís street food hotspots

B.O.B.ís Lobster Picked by Gail Tolley, Time Out features editor

‘“Posh” and “street food” don’t usually go together. But B.O.B.’s Lobster has injected some class into the whole eating-with-yourhands thing. Its signature lobster roll is an unforgettable, opulent affair: tender hunks of lobster are packed into a perfectly light, toasted brioche roll, served to you by a bow-tie-wearing trader from the most delightful 1950s VW van. Messy eating has never felt so refined.’
