Ask your child to write their name (including surname) writing each letter underneath the one before, as in the example. Then let them use an online dictionary such as www.oxforddictionaries.com to find the meanings of interesting words that begin with each letter of their name. T - Titanium - a hard silver grey metal O - Opossum - an American Marsupial (animal that carries it's young in a pouch) M - Minuscule - extremely small/tiny There will be a prize for the most interesting words found!
