MacMillan Coffee Morning Thank you to everyone who joined us for the MacMillan Coffee Morning today and for all of the cake donations that you gave. The children certainly enjoyed the cakes for their tuck. We raised approximately £200. We have an unnamed china plate left over. Please ask at the office if you are missing yours. Roald Dahl Dress Up Day The children (and staff) looked amazing dressed up for our special Roald Dahl day. A huge well done to the following children for winning the best dressed: Foundation class: Whole class Year 1/2: Tegan Griggs, Year 3/4: Gracie Collins, Year 5/6: Olivia Pasquale & Staff: Mr Arnold & Miss Renoldi Family Learning Family Learning for our Foundation families starts on Wednesday 30th September. They will be enjoying sharing stories and making story sacks. There is one space left, so if you are interested in sharing some story time with your child then please see one of the Early Years Team or speak to the office. PTA Our wonderful PTA are busy organising lots of fun activities and events for you and your children for this year. If you can help at an event for a couple of hours then please let the office know. All help is welcome and hugely appreciated. (You do not need to attend the meetings or help at every event). Thank you for your continued support. Football The children played their first football match of the year against Horndon-on-theHill yesterday. After going 0v2 down they managed to pull it back, the final score was 3v3. Well Done! Dojo Points In class your child receives Dojos for good work and behaviour. The teachers are now able to add photos showing what your child has been up to in class on the Dojo website for you to view. Please be aware that the message section is for the teachers to write positive comments about the school day. If you have any questions or concerns this should be reported through the usual school channels and not on Dojo. If you don’t know how to view your child’s Dojo points from home then please ask your child’s teacher. Lost Property If you think that your child has lost anything from last year then please come and check lost property. Any items not taken by Friday 2nd October will be placed in our recyclable clothes bin.
