YEAR 11 PROM—Thursday 29th June 2017—letter attached Year 8 French Trip Meeting: Thursday 8th June at 7 pm (it's the week we get back after half term). Year 11 Geography Revision Day during half term on Tuesday 30th May 10.00am -3.00 pm (Natural Paper 2 first and then Human Paper 3). Science Fair projects should be handed in to Mrs Darkins on the first Monday back after half term (5th June). The Science Fair will take place the following Monday 12th June at 5.30. Good luck to Ollie Silcock who will be doing the three peaks challenge in Wales this weekend. He and his dad are raising money for a local charity: ChemoGiftBags: https://www.facebook.com/Chemogiftbags/ The charity produce gift bags which consist of many items that might make chemo a little more manageable. They include cosy socks, slippers, blankets as well as flavoured teas, word search books, soft tooth brushes, a “Thinking of You” card and many more items. UNIFORM—Please ensure that your child returns to school at the start of term 6 in the correct Langtree uniform. Staff will be checking uniform on a daily basis. Uniform for Years 7-10: Blue v neck logo jumper, white logo polo shirt or white logo shirt with school tie, choice of two styles of black tailored logo trousers or a choice of two styles of skirts Uniform for Year 11: Grey v neck logo jumper or grey logo cardigan, white logo polo shirt or white logo shirt with school tie, choice of two styles of black tailored logo trousers or a choice of two styles of skirts. Coats/Jewellery/Shoes: Plain Navy or Black outdoor coat - Coats/scarves should not be worn inside school. No other hooded sweatshirts or jumpers should be worn. School coats are available through Trutexdirect.com Shoes – Leather or leather type only, dark brown or black, flat heels only. No trainers, no boots, no canvas shoes, no “Vans” style or similar leather pumps, no skate style shoes. Socks – navy blue, black or white. Tights –black. No leggings or denim clothing of any sort. Belts –black, plain, no studs. Students may wear one pair of small stud earrings, no more than one stud in each ear, but dress jewellery and earrings may not be worn in school in line with the County Health and Safety Policy. Studs may not be worn anywhere other than in the ears. No other form of body piercing is acceptable. No Student should have his/her hair dyed an unnatural colour, nor should any student come to school with a shaven or partly shaven head. Long hair must be tied back for safety reasons in practical lessons – this applies equally all genders. Discreet makeup may be worn. No eyeliner, nail varnish or nail extensions. PE & GAMES EQUIPMENT: Navy/cyclone blue polo shirt & outdoor trainers, football boots and astro turf shoes. Unisex navy/cyclone blue shorts, Unisex navy/cyclone blue sports socks, Navy/cyclone blue reversible long sleeve top, Unisex navy/cyclone blue hoodie (optional). All with Langtree School transfer badge (except socks).
