Entry Fee:

Play Format:
18 Holes of Stroke Play.
Rules:
USGA and VHSL rules will apply except where modified by local rules.
ENTRY DEADLINE:
Wednesday, August 3, 2017—8:00 P.M.—Name of Golfers can be submitted at coaches meeting on Aug 4th. List players according to playing ability, #1 being the top player. Substitutions can be made at coaches meetings.

Will be provided for 1 coach and 6 golfers, per school. Tickets for meals will be given to Head Coach.
Marshals:
Golf Carts will be available for the coaches to help as marshals.

Range:
Will have scheduled times for kids according to their tee times starting at 11:45 a.m.
Participation:
Six (6) golfers per school. You must have six golfers to enter your team. Team score will be figured on top 4 scores from each team. Golfers name will be submitted at Coaches Meeting
Scoring Area:
After completion of the player’s round they will go directly to the scoring area. Players should not stop to talk. No parents or spectators are allowed in the scoring area. Upon completion, no player is permitted on the range, practice areas or course.
Team Awards:
Trophies to first place.
Individual Awards: Medals will be awarded to top 6 golfers. Awards Presentation:
Awards will be presented at conclusion of tournament.
Golf Carts:
Carts are $20.00 to rent for spectators.
Pull Carts:
Pull Carts are NOT ALLOWED via request of the golf course.

Freedom and Rock Ridge Golf Invitational LOCAL RULES SHEET Boys- White Tees Girls- Red Tees Yardage markers are on sprinkler heads and 200, 150, and 100 are marked. USGA Rules govern play, except where modified by these local rules. Embedded Ball Rule is in effect through the green The One Ball Rule is not in effect. Players, when legally allowed may switch brand/type of ball. Rule 13-4c. Rocks and Stones in bunkers are NOT considered loose impediments, and may be removed without penalty. All other loose impediments in hazards are played in accordance with Rule 13-4c. For the sake of pace of play, players will be permitted to hit a Provisional Ball, regardless of whether their ball may be in a hazard or not. This ball may be played until it can be determined whether or not the original ball is in a hazard. If the original ball is found or it is determined the ball lies in a hazard, players may play the ball or take relief in accordance with rule 26. Please remember to mark correctly and notify your competitors of your provisional. A player will not be permitted to abuse any piece of equipment during the match. (club, ball, course, etc.) Penalty: 1st Offense – 2 stroke penalty 2nd Offense – Disqualification from match. A player shall not use profanity during the match Penalty: (3/9/90) 1st Offense – 2 stroke penalty 2nd Offense – Disqualification from match In the instance a ball lies in play through the green but the player’s stance is impeded by poison ivy, one-club length relief shall be given no closer to the hole. Pace of Play: Pace of Play will be closely monitored. Please keep up with the group in front of you. Use of Yardage Finders and GPS systems are NOT permitted during the competition. Tall grass on the right side beyond lateral hazard is in play, no hazard. #2- Lateral hazard down entire left side and behind green. OB on right down the entire line of houses on right. Tall grass on right beyond houses is in play, no hazard. #3- Lateral hazard down the left side past the green. Lateral hazard on right side inside of 100yds. Water hazard at creek in front of green. Road on right side is OB. Tall grass beyond green is in play, no hazard. #4- Lateral hazard on right side to approximately the 150yd mark. OB at road on right inside of 150yds. Lateral down entire left side from the FW bunker into green. #5- OB right of cart path at tree line. #6- Lateral right starting at beginning of FW. OB left of cart path at backyards. #7- Lateral hazard beyond creek and tall grass to tunnel on right. OB long and right at road and street. #8- OB left at house line. Lateral hazard beyond green. Tall grass right and left are in play, no hazard. #9- Lateral hazard right to end of tree line. Tall grass right beyond tree line is in play, no hazard. OB left at parking lot.
