Dear Golfers and Friends of MASTP, Please join the Massachusetts Satellite Training Program in our 2nd Annual MASTP golf tournament at Pembroke Country Club on Monday August 17, 2015 for a great day of golfing with the friends of the Mass Satellite Training Program. Tee-times will start at 09:00am. Since Dan Esdale expanded the National Satellite Program to Massachusetts our primary goal has been to provide our young players with the highest level of professional training throughout their participation in the Mass STP while guiding them to excel as Student-Athletes and citizens in preparation of their future. The Mass STP and its programs will be the sole benefactor of all proceeds generated from Mass STP Golf Tournament. The event will be held at The Pembroke Country Club, owned by NHL Legend Jeremy Roenick, and operated by Wally and Jo Roenick, Jeremy’s dad and mom. The Pembroke Country Club is one of the South Shore’s premier courses and features a function area that will host a reception for all participants following the tournament where a meal will be provided along with cash bar. One of the greatest attributes of the great hockey fraternity is to be there for others. Please join us for that occasion while having a great day of golf and fun with friends to support the MASTP to continue as one the pinnacles of player development in Mass and the U.S. Golf Event Package Includes: Green Fee and Cart Tournament Services 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place Prizes $125.00 per player Reservations must be received by August 3, 2015. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: 8:15 - 9:00 am: Golfer Check –In 9:00 am: Tee off Meal at the conclusion Course Information Pembroke Country Club is a championship par 71 course measuring 6,677 from the blue tees with a slope of 132 and a 73.3 rating. The course layout designed by Philip A. Wogan has long been recognized as one of the best layouts on the South Shore requiring use of almost all the clubs in your bag. Facilities include an all grass full size driving range, full service restaurant, pro-shop and banquet facilities. Pembroke Country Club is a public golf course with limited memberships available. Opened in 1973, Pembroke Country Club is located a short 25 minute drive from Boston nestled among the tall pines of the South Shore. Five par fours are over 420 yards providing a challenge for golfers of all abilities. In 2009 the course was purchased by former NHL all-star Jeremy Roenick who grew up playing at PCC and loving the course. Over the past several years, under the direction of Golf Course Architect and Superintendent Patrick Sullivan, much work has been done to clear out and open the course to enhance playability. Also course conditions, tee boxes, fairways and greens have been upgraded to provide an excellent golfing experience. In addition to course improvements the pro shop, grille room, and function halls have been upgraded. The view from the grille room patio overlooks the golf course.
