2nd ANNUAL PLAINFIELD NORTH BAKER KICKOFF CLASSIC Date: November 8, 2014 Place: Brunswick Zone XL - Romeoville 735 Center Blvd., Romeoville, IL 60446 (630) 378-2695 Schools Participating: Bolingbrook (2), Chicago Christian (2), Grayslake Central, Grayslake North, Hinsdale Central, Johnsburg, Lincoln Way North (2), Lincoln Way West, Marist, Minooka (2), Morton, Oswego East, Plainfield Central (2), Plainfield East (2),Plainfield North (2), Romeoville (2), South Beloit, St. Charles East, Westminster Christian Times of Events: 8:00 am - Bowling Center Opens 8:30 am - Coaches Meeting 8:50 am - Anthem and Introduction of Teams 9:00 am - Warmups 9:10 am - Morning block of 16 Baker games There will be a 30 minute break for lunch that begins when the last morning block match ends. Teams have been divided into 2 divisions. The top 7 teams from each division will move to the Championiship Bracket and the bottom 7 teams into the Consolation Bracket. Seeding for each bracket will be based on total pinfall in the morning block. Each bracket is a double-elimination tournament. The top 3 finishing teams in the Championship Bracket win awards and the top team in the consolation bracket wins an award. Your roster is a maximum of 7 players. Players may be substituted at any time in a game. Once a player has been substituted for in a game, he may not return until the start of the next game. Players may only bowl on the roster they have been entered in. Players may not go between teams in the tournament Teams will be awarded 30 bonus pins for each game that they win in the morning block. Winners of each match in the afternoon tournament will be determined by the 2-game total pinfall. No bonus pins are awarded for winning games in the afternoon. There will be a 10 minute warmup after the lunch break. There will be no practice balls before any of the other matches in the afternoon. The team with the higher seed gets choice of lane for the entire match. Teams will bowl both games on the same lane that they start the match on. Please remind parents that there will be no alcohol allowed anywhere along the concourse or by the bowlers area as this is an IHSA Sanctioned event. Starting lane assignments will be determined by a blind draw. All other questions will be governed using the USBC Rules of Play.
