Rookie of the Week Julian Moreira – NJCU Freshman, Right Side/Middle Hitter, Miami, FL/Mourning Biscayne Bay Campus Last week’s Player of the Week recipient averaged 4.83 points per set over a two-match stretch…registered 10 kills, eight digs and three assisted blocks against Rutgers-Newark…put down 14 kills to go with five assisted blocks versus Brooklyn…ranks No. 6 in the Skyline with a season average of 3.02 kills per set.
Honor Roll Mount Saint Vincent’s Tyler Cucullu joined the 1,000 career kills club in the Dolphins’ match against Purchase on Saturday – becoming just the second student-athlete to achieve this feat in program history…Purchase senior Kevin Carges averaged 2.8 kills and 0.67 service aces per set…Ramapo junior Justin Feigeles sent the Roadrunners to a 2-1 week with averages of 2.1 kills and 2.55 digs per set.
