ADVANTAGES ● For the aviation industry fastest, easiest and precise bendings are only can be made by RMT F-FAB series machines. This machine bend the aluminium or titanium alloyed sheets by many points for bending to get precise cylindrical or conical bending forms. Aluminium or titanium alloyed plates spring back is too much and these kind of sheets thicknesses are thin, yield strength is high and elastic module is low. For this reason these plates can only bend by RMT F-FAB series machines and there is no possibility to bend with traditional 3 roll & 4 roll Plate Roll bending machines. Plate Roll bending machines rolls diameters are so big and no possibility for aluminium or titanium alloyed plates bendings. ● The sheet is first placed on bottom rolls and top roll move down than all rolls begin bending operation with push button controls. ● During bending operation, top roll is able to move up and positionings by digital readout. Whereby RMT F-FAB machine perfectly bends complex plane wings edges. ● Different thickness plates are easily bend by ability of bottom rolls inside & outside symmetrical movements. ● Complex bended parts are easily discharged from machine by the machine open type side frame.

Stable and Robust Machine Body The F-FAB machine body is strengthened and lowered to minimize twists and deformation of the plate. This robust body is joined by beam towers to the sturdy machine frame. The machine body, frame and towers connections are all are stress relieved after the welding operation. The whole body is machined with CNC machining centers utilizing a fixed single reference point. This allows for parallelism of all axes and precise surfaces, as well as longevity and precision of the critical characteristics of the machine.
Low Friction Roll Housing System The rolls have a low friction housing with sealed roller bearings. (SKF or INA-FAG) These bearings require less lubrication and assure long-term precision.
Precise Roll Positioning System Upper rolls movements are powered by seperated dual speed AC motors, reductors and screw jacks and positions are monitored by very sensitive lineer encoders. Sensitive Beam movements are done by screw miles and by this solution mechanic backlashs are minimised and friction losses are decreased. All these systems sensivity and we get precise bending results and radius which we expect to get.
High Torque Roll Triggering Top and bottom rolls driven by high torque dual speed AC motor and central gears. The movements of rolls given by sensitive cardan joints and obtained torque directly transmit to the plate. The plate can not slide back side especialLy during pre bending operation by strong magnetic disk brake .
