I’m Tyler Benson, I was originally set to return to Bloomsburg this coming fall for my senior year, but thanks to your support, I am now experiencing the opportunity of a lifetime. Early this summer, I made the decision to enter the Major League Baseball Draft. On June 14, 2017, I was selected in the 31st round by the San Diego Padres organization. This is a goal I have been working toward for my whole life, but I never would have reached it without the financial assistance and scholarships I received as a Husky from loyal donors like you. Because of that support, I was able to focus on my academics while also putting the time in on the practice field and pushing myself to make my dreams come true. I hope you will choose to give to the Huskies Scholarship Fund this year. Each dollar can make a difference in the lives of student-athletes like me.

Hi! I’m Annie Klinger, Class of 2019. I originally began my college career as a freshman at the University at Albany, because I had always dreamed of playing Division I Field Hockey. But halfway through that first year, I realized that I wanted to do more. Ever since I was young, I wanted to work in the field of Audiology and Speech Pathology, and I knew that Bloomsburg had one of the best programs in the country for that major. In my sophomore year, I transferred to BU so I could pursue both my academic and athletic goals. Thanks to the support I received through a scholarship from donors like you, I have had the opportunity to do that and so much more. Thanks to that support, I have been able to manage my academics and my time on the field successfully. I have also been able to gain more experience outside the classroom that will help to prepare me for my career by volunteering with programs like Camp Victory and working with adults who have communication disorders at the Central Pennsylvania Aphasia Center in Danville, PA.
