30 Second Elevator Speech “What do you do?” It’s a question that we’ve all heard a million times. And as insurance and financial professionals, it can often be difficult to answer. Unfortunately, most people have pre-conceived notions about people in our industry, that we’re nothing more than salespeople. We’ve found this 30 second elevator speech to be a great way to succinctly get the message across about exactly what we do, without looking like a pushy salesman. ************************************************************************* Here’s the scripting: I work with three types of people… you tell me which one you are: -

I work with people that are tired of losing money in their investments, but they still want to win the inflation battle.

I work with people that may have some debt, and they’re concerned it’s having a negative effect on their lives and their ability to properly prepare for the future.

And I also work with people that want to eliminate Uncle Sam from their retirement pocket.

Which one are you?

Without exception, you’ll get some people to agree with at least two of them, and most people say “I’m all three”. What I need to do is give you 20 minutes of my time. I’ve got Monday at 3:00 or Friday at 2:00. What works best for you?
