Congratulations to the winners, and well done to everyone who put themselves forward for election. We’ve had a great campaign season, with an excellent crop of posters, stickers and other promotional material. School Council The first meeting will take place on Wednesday 5th October at 2.00pm in the Computing Suite. Attendance Below 85% According to the Borough guidelines any child with attendance below 85% will be referred to the Educational Welfare Officer and a monthly report will be sent to the London Borough of Hillingdon. It is therefore important to ensure that your child attends school regularly. Thank you. Home Learnng Checking Week Children can bring in their home learning next week for their teachers to mark. Harvest Festival This year our Harvest Festival assembly will be held on two days; Tuesday 11th and Tuesday 18th October and our chosen charity is The Sufra foodbank. If you would like to donate items, here is a list of ideas that will be particularly useful: non-perishable foodstuffs, especially cans and packets (e.g. biscuits; cereals; cup-a-soups; pasta, tins of vegetables, fish, custard, rice pudding, fruit, etc; coffee and tea; sugar, jams and spreads, soft drinks) as well as personal items such as soap, shampoo, shower gel and toothpaste. Donations can be brought into the reception from Monday. SMSA ~ School Meals Supervisory Assistant The Infant School are looking for an SMSA to join their team with immediate effect working 6.25 hrs per week. If you are interested in finding out more about this position, please contact the infant school reception. Voluntary One Way System We run a voluntary one way system around the school to help avoid congestion. Please enter Dawlish Drive at the Dulverton Road end and leave via the Chelston Approach end. Please also do not park on the yellow zigzag lines and in the staff and E.Y.E. car parks. All of these measures will help to keep your children safe when coming to and from school. There is 30 minutes free parking if you use the bays on Victoria Road near the shops. Please do not use your mobile phone while driving near the school.

Parking Please park considerately when delivering and collecting your children from school. Please do not park over residents’ driveways or on the yellow zigzag lines outside the school as this obstructs the view of parents and children trying to cross the road. Please consider the safety of your own and other children around our school. The EYE nursery car park is not for Lady Bankes Nursery/Infants or Junior Parents, this car park is for EYE Nursery clients and staff only. Please note the Infant and Junior staff car park is for staff only. All spaces are allocated to members of staff and the area to the left of the car park is for delivery vehicles only. As a matter of health and safety, please do not use this area to drop off your children. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
