31st ANNUAL CERRITOS AYSO REGION 54 THANKSGIVING INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT Team Invitation Hello, Coaches! st AYSO Region 54 is proud to invite your team to the 31 Annual Cerritos AYSO Region 54 Thanksgiving Invitational Scope:
AYSO Invitational – open to AYSO core fall teams and all-star teams from all sections.
When:
November 25, 26, & 27, 2016
Where:
Cerritos Sports Complex located in Cerritos, California (No fee for parking & No Pets Allowed)
Who:
Registered Fall 2016 AYSO players Boys & Girls teams as follows: TEAMS U16 (11 v 11): 22 PLAYERS MAX U14 (11 v 11): 15 PLAYERS MAX U12 (9 v 9): 12 PLAYERS MAX U10 (7 v 7) : 10 PLAYERS MAX A MAXIMUM OF 3 GUEST PLAYERS WILL BE ALLOWED. Pool Play Tournament. Each team will be guaranteed 3 games in pool play. Top teams will advance to medal rounds on Sunday afternoon.
What: Why:
This tournament is being conducted as a fundraiser by Region 54 to raise funds for field development, field usage, equipment, maintenance, & to provide scholarships for youths participating in Region 54.
Awards:
All players and 2 coaches per team will receive a tournament pin & t-shirt. All players on the 1 , 2 , 3 , th & 4 place teams will receive a medal.
Entry Fee, Refunds:
$525 for U-16, $500 for U-14, $475 for U-12, and $425 for U-10. A full refund will be issued if tournament is canceled and cannot be rescheduled. If a team withdraws before November 13 a full refund is given. After November 13, no refund is provided unless a replacement team is found.
Referee Fee, Refunds:
$300, refundable within 14 days of the tournament, if referee assignments have been completed. Each team is asked to provide a qualified 3-person referee team to cover 3 games during the tournament. Partial refunds will be given based upon the number of game slots completed.

Acceptance:
The application deadline is November 6th. All teams will be notified within 48 hours of the application deadline or receipt of application (whichever is latest) as to their status. Teams that are not accepted will be given the option to have their complete application returned or to be placed on the waiting list.
How:
Team applications are online at www.ayso54.org, hover over the “Thanksgiving Tournament” tab, Click on “Team Application”. Please send 1 Region check to cover both entry and referee fees along with the Referee Authorization Form, team roster (printed from eayso from your region), & guest player form or roster to the address below. Regional commissioner signatures must be on team rosters. Region referee administrator must sign referee application. (Extra teams refer to www.area11e.com) Region checks payable to: CERRITOS AYSO 54
