33 Birthday Saleabration Friday, April 22nd through Sunday, May 1st

Notes from Margaret

Spring is finally here – at least the daffodils think so! My flowerbed is a yellow blanket of blossoms. Wish they would last forever! School will soon be in recess for the summer so now is the time to register that further sewist for Kids classes – they fill fast. Or enroll yourself for a refresher class or a fun quilting class. This spring also includes weddings of two of my grandsons. One wedding is in Houston in May and the other in June in Connecticut. The whole family is looking forward to these events as it gives us a chance to get together. More details later. My granddaughter who worked for Lands End in Wisconsin has taken a position with a company in Aspen Colorado that makes high end ski wear. Beautiful country and job opportunity! My other granddaughter is completing her student teaching and is looking for a teaching position for fall. They all grow up so fast. We are celebrating our 33rd birthday Friday April 22 through Sunday May 1!! We will have VERY SPECIAL pricing on all Husqvarna Viking and BERNINA sewing machines and sergers during this event. If a new machine is on your wish list, now is the time to act. We are your local authorized BERNINA and Husqvarna Viking dealer. We will also feature 33% off fabrics, notions, books and much more. Sign up for prizes too. For you Sunday shoppers, Georgeanne (Georg)will be retiring from teaching at Illinois Wesleyan and moving to Washington state. We will really miss her and her talents. (Remember her magnificent black and white bargello quilt). We are happy to be participating in the Row by Row event this summer. Visit participating shops and receive a free row pattern and, if you wish, purchase a Row kit and license plate to make into a unique quilt of your summer adventures. This event is happening all over the U.S. and now even in Europe so vacationing can be a new quilting adventure. Check the Row by Row website for specific rules and participating shops. We are looking forward to a great summer! Margaret & Staff
