In addition to providing on-site optician fitting services, 3M provides off-site optician fitting for prescription eyewear through its partnership with a network of over 2,500 certified eye care professionals (ECPs) across the United States. On-site or off-site, 3M can help facilities customize protective eyewear while implementing consistent safety practices.
The process: • Once you have identified the potential eye and face hazards at your site, 3M sales specialists will consult with your organization to help determine the appropriate 3M protective eyewear products for those hazards. • 3M will provide an independent optician to professionally fit 3M prescription and non-prescription eyewear that may be used to help maximize workers’ safety and comfort. • Employees have the opportunity to choose the style of eye protection they prefer from the range of options selected by your organization.
Comprehensive Online Reporting 3M’s Total Eyewear Solutions program includes an online platform that helps you improve administrative cost control and track eligibility, access custom order forms, and make changes to eyewear options while providing accurate, detailed and timely reporting and invoicing.
Enhancing Protection and Comfort Appropriately fitted eyewear helps provide better protection from environmental hazards and helps reduce costly eye injuries.
