Nuisance and Vandalism

********************** Stars of the week We have been looking for children who are listening carefully to each other. Teachers chose…

Over the past few weeks we have been dismayed by the nuisance and damage being caused after school has closed and during weekends. Our play equipment, windows, bins and roof, have all been damaged in the last month. Neighbours, staff, children and visitors have been distressed and intimidated by the behaviour of groups of young people. Whilst we are pleased to welcome people to use the site considerately outside school hours, we must remind users that they are being filmed by CCTV and we now pass footage to Cumbria Police to identify those causing nuisance or damage to school property. We are also seeking support from Trinity School as many of the young people using our site are pupils there. We would especially ask all parents and local residents to contact Cumbria Police if they see children on the roof as they could be causing damage or hurt themselves. .

Thank you all for remembering that jewellery (including earrings), nail varnish, tattoos and make-up must be removed before coming to school.
